The Rare Wubbox is a rare monster from My Singing Monsters, the monster-collecting music game where each creature adds its own vocal or instrument to an island song. Its boxy, electric design and robotic voice made it a fan favorite for remixes and edits. The Ohio part comes from the Only in Ohio internet meme, which frames strange or surreal clips as something that could only happen in Ohio. Combined, the two references became a short, shareable sound for absurd edits, and it keeps circulating because both references are instantly recognisable to gaming and TikTok audiences.

The Rare Wubbox Ohio sound mixes the My Singing Monsters monster's robotic vocal with the Only in Ohio meme, used for absurd TikTok and gaming edits.
This eight-second clip centers on the Rare Wubbox, the electrified box monster from My Singing Monsters, whose processed, robotic voice cuts through a short musical phrase with a mechanical, almost glitching rhythm. Layered with the deadpan absurdity of the Only in Ohio meme, it lands as something both familiar to game fans and deliberately strange to everyone else. The result feels sudden and off-kilter, like a normal edit taking a sharp turn into nonsense. That jolt is exactly why creators use it: it signals that what follows will not make sense in the best possible way, and it sticks in the listener's head long after the clip ends.
