This roughly seven-second clip pairs the bright, jaunty ragtime piano of Scott Joplin's The Entertainer with a raw, frustrated human scream that cuts the tune off mid-flow. The sudden switch feels abrupt, loud and slightly unhinged, turning a polite, orderly setup into comic collapse. Joplin published the piece in 1902, and it later reached a wider audience through the 1973 film The Sting.
