The Don Cangrejo exercising meme sound: SpongeBob's Mr. Krabs grunting through a workout in a short 4-second clip, used in gym fails and funny video edits.
This short meme clip features Don Cangrejo, the Spanish name for SpongeBob SquarePants' money-loving crab Mr. Krabs, mid-workout and struggling through every rep. You hear strained, rhythmic grunting and cartoonish effort sounds as the famously lazy crab pushes himself through an exercise routine, each puff and groan exaggerated for comic effect. The contrast between the grumpy old crab and the idea of him hitting the gym is what sells the joke, turning a few seconds of audio into an instantly recognisable gag. It lands like a punchline, making any scene of someone trying too hard suddenly hilarious.
