Chicken Jockey comes from A Minecraft Movie, released in 2025, where a baby zombie riding a chicken appears as a rare and dangerous mob combination from the game. The shout became a cinema phenomenon as audiences cheered, applauded and repeated the line during screenings, and clips of those reactions spread rapidly across TikTok and other social platforms. The Brazilian Portuguese version, Jockey de Galinha, carries the same joke for Portuguese-speaking fans, keeping the moment popular in Minecraft edits, reaction videos and short-form memes long after the film's opening weeks.
