Excuses is a short excerpt from AP Dhillon's Punjabi pop track, built around a smooth, laid-back vocal delivery over a modern hip-hop influenced beat. The clip captures the song's instantly recognisable hook, with Dhillon's relaxed flow and melodic phrasing riding over deep bass and crisp percussion. It feels confident and effortless rather than loud or dramatic, which is why it works so well as a background moment in short videos. Hearing those first few seconds immediately signals Punjabi party energy and contemporary desi style, giving an edit a cool, polished finish without overpowering the visuals.

Tips profesional

Drop the clip as your subject walks in or the transition beat lands, and let the hook play clean without talking over it. Pair it with a slow-motion outfit reveal, and avoid looping it more than once so it stays fresh.
