Malphite is a champion in League of Legends, Riot Games' multiplayer online battle arena released in 2009, where he is a living shard of rock used as a frontline tank. His English voice line Solid as a rock became one of his most quoted phrases, and the French localisation renders it as Solide comme un rock. Clips of the line circulate in gaming edits and short videos, where players reuse the deadpan delivery to celebrate absorbing damage, holding a position, or simply refusing to be moved.

The French Malphite voice line Solide comme un rock from League of Legends, played when a tank holds the line or someone acts unbreakable in a meme.
This is Malphite speaking in French, delivering his signature line Solide comme un rock with a deep, gravelly, stone-like voice. The delivery is slow, heavy and completely confident, like a mountain talking back. It lasts only a few seconds but lands with the weight of the champion himself, a living shard of rock who shrugs off damage. Creators use it to underline someone standing firm, refusing to move, or surviving something that should have knocked them down, and the contrast between the serious tone and ordinary situations makes it land as dry comedy.
