Resurrection by Erection is a song by German power metal band Powerwolf, released on their 2009 album Bible of the Beast. The track became one of the band's best known early songs thanks to its provocative title, catchy chorus and mix of religious imagery with humour. Clips circulated through metal forums, YouTube edits and soundboards, where the short hook works out of context as a reaction. Its popularity endures because Powerwolf's theatrical style makes the excerpt recognisable in seconds, even for listeners unfamiliar with the full album.

Resurrection by Erection is a clip from the Powerwolf power metal song, used in edits, memes and metal soundboards for its dramatic chorus hook.
This clip captures the anthemic chorus energy of Powerwolf's Resurrection by Erection, with soaring male vocals, pounding drums, church organ tones and heavy guitars building into a theatrical singalong. The playing with religious resurrection imagery and tongue in cheek wordplay makes the hook instantly memorable and deliberately over the top. Even in a short excerpt the production feels huge, shifting from verse tension to a stadium sized release. It works as a sudden, funny and dramatic punchline, giving a mundane moment the exaggerated grandeur of a power metal ritual.
