Space Unicorn is credited to Parry Gripp, a songwriter known for short, catchy and deliberately silly songs that are easy to quote and reuse. The track has found a second life online, where its bright melody and simple space-unicorn premise make it a natural fit for memes, children's edits and light-hearted montages. Because the chorus is instantly memorable and the whole clip is under a minute long, creators can drop it in without explaining the joke. Its continued use comes from that combination of nostalgia, absurdity and pure, uncomplicated cheerfulness.

An upbeat novelty song by Parry Gripp about a unicorn flying through space, often used in funny edits and kids videos for a whimsical, feel-good lift.
Space Unicorn is a short, catchy song by Parry Gripp built around a simple guitar-driven melody, playful vocals and a chorus that is easy to sing along to. It paints a silly, colourful picture of a unicorn drifting past stars and planets, with a light, bouncy rhythm that keeps the energy high without feeling loud or chaotic. The overall effect is cheerful and slightly absurd, which is why it works so well as a punchline or a burst of optimism in a video. Listeners tend to smile at the contrast between the epic space setting and the very simple, childlike idea at its centre.
