No verified original recording or creator is documented for this clip, so it circulates mainly as a standalone meme sound effect rather than a quote from a film or show. Editors lift the wet squish because it reads instantly as soft fruit being crushed, even on mute-adjacent timelines where the visual is small. It is shared alongside other goofy ahh sounds in short-form edits, gaming montages and slapstick compilations, where a longer, messier splat gets a bigger reaction than a short cartoon pop and can be reused for many different falls and fails.
Tentang suara ini
The squash banana sound is a wet squishy splat meme clip of a banana being crushed, used for slapstick fails, gross-out gags and cartoon food jokes.
This clip captures the close-up sound of a ripe banana being squashed flat, starting with a soft peel split and building into a long wet squelch and splat. The texture is thick, mushy and slightly squeaky, with the pulp smearing out in an exaggerated way that feels both gross and cartoonish. At just over five seconds it is longer than a quick pop, so the squish lingers and makes the moment feel messier. Viewers instantly picture soft food being destroyed, which is why it lands as a slapstick punchline even without any picture.
