Aniplex is a Japanese anime production and distribution company founded in 1995 as a subsidiary of Sony Music Entertainment Japan, known for series such as Demon Slayer, Sword Art Online and the Fate franchise. Its short ident has played before episodes, trailers and home video releases for decades, so the sound became familiar even to viewers who never read the logo. As fan editing grew on video platforms, creators lifted the clean studio flourish to lend their own anime edits, AMVs and parody openings the same official starting moment.

The Aniplex sound effect heard in anime intros and studio logo reveals, a short shimmering whoosh and chime that creators use for transitions and edits.
This is the short studio ident sound associated with Aniplex, the anime producer behind countless series title cards. It builds in under six seconds with a clean rising sweep, a bright electronic shimmer and a soft resolved tone at the end, giving it a polished, slightly futuristic feel. There is no voice or dialogue, just the signature flourish that signals an opening is about to begin. Viewers who watch a lot of anime recognise it instantly, and that instant recognition is why editors borrow it to make a cut feel official, dramatic and unmistakably anime.
