Arc Raiders is a multiplayer extraction shooter from Embark Studios, released in 2025, where players scavenge a ruined Earth while hostile ARC machines patrol the map. Bastion is one of those machines, a heavy turret-like threat whose lock-on cue warns players they have been detected. Clips of that warning spread through gameplay videos, streams and soundboards as players shared tense encounters and funny ambush moments. It remains popular because the sound is instantly recognisable to players and works as a shorthand for being spotted.

The Bastion lock-on sound from Arc Raiders, a tense targeting alert when a turret acquires you. Creators use it in edits and streams about getting spotted.
This is the short electronic lock-on cue that plays in Arc Raiders when a Bastion unit targets you, a tight burst of rising beeps and a hard warning tone that lasts just over three seconds. It sounds mechanical and urgent, like a turret snapping onto its target, and it instantly raises the stakes because players know incoming fire is about to follow. In a clip it works as a danger signal, turning a calm moment into a sudden threat and making viewers brace for what happens next.
