Hokuto Hyakuretsu Ken, also called the Hundred Crack Fist, is the signature technique of Kenshiro, the hero of Hokuto no Ken, the manga created by Buronson and Tetsuo Hara that began in 1983 and became a hugely popular anime in 1984. In the story Kenshiro strikes pressure points with a blinding flurry of punches, and the attack became one of anime's most imitated finishing moves. Decades later the sound remains shorthand online for unstoppable speed, reused in edits, parodies and fighting game clips.

The rapid-fire punch sound of Kenshiro's Hokuto Hyakuretsu Ken from Fist of the North Star, used for fast combo attacks and over-the-top anime fight edits.
This short burst captures Kenshiro unleashing his signature Hundred Crack Fist, a flurry of impossibly fast punches delivered in less than a second. You hear a rapid volley of sharp impact sounds layered over his strained battle cry, creating a sense of overwhelming speed and power that feels far bigger than its brief runtime. The clip works because it compresses an entire anime finishing move into one punchy moment, instantly signalling that a character is about to be overwhelmed. Played at full volume, it turns an ordinary hit into a dramatic, almost comical explosion of force.
