This short clip pairs two familiar comic sounds that have long been used together in cartoons, games and internet memes: a low bong to signal something ominous, followed by the exaggerated muahaha laugh associated with cartoon villains. The exact recording has no confirmed original source, but the combination has spread through soundboards, reaction videos and short-form edits, where it works as instant shorthand for scheming, mischief or a plan coming together. Its appeal is its simplicity, as listeners recognise the joke in under three seconds.

A deep bong chime followed by a sinister muahaha evil laugh, perfect for villain reveals, pranks and meme edits needing a cartoonish bad-guy moment.
The clip opens with a single low bong, like a deep bell or gong, that hangs in the air for a moment before breaking into a theatrical muahaha evil laugh. The laugh is slow, deliberate and exaggerated, rising and falling in a classic cartoon villain rhythm that makes the menace feel playful rather than frightening. Together the two parts create a clear comic setup and punchline, first the warning, then the reveal that someone is up to no good. It lands best as a short reaction, turning an ordinary fail, prank or plot twist into a moment of mock villainy.
