The clip is a fan-made soundboard meme that brings together two very different pop-culture figures: Butters, the earnest and naive character from South Park, and Ice Spice, the Bronx rapper known for her relaxed, deadpan delivery. Rather than coming from a single episode or song, it works as a character-swap joke, and that mismatch is what makes it shareable. It has spread through meme edits and reaction videos, where a familiar cartoon voice in a modern rap style feels both unexpected and instantly recognisable.

A short clip of Butters speaking in the style of Ice Spice, a playful voice meme that fans drop into South Park edits and reaction videos for a comic twist.
This fourteen-second clip pairs the familiar, earnest voice of South Park's Butters with the laid-back cadence associated with rapper Ice Spice, creating a deliberately mismatched character impression. The delivery is soft, slightly hesitant and playful rather than forceful, with a breathy, sing-song rhythm that makes the familiar cartoon voice feel unexpectedly cool. Listeners tend to laugh first at the contrast, then at how naturally the two styles blend, because the innocent tone undercuts the confident swagger. It works best as a quick punchline, landing in a few seconds and leaving the joke clear without needing any extra context.
