Classic Caillou is the older, mischievous version of Caillou created by the GoAnimate community for its long-running grounded videos, in which the character is punished for bad behaviour and reacts with exaggerated cartoon shouting. The stretched yay became a reusable soundboard clip as those parodies spread across YouTube, with creators lifting short reactions for their own grounded episodes and meme edits. It remains popular because the cheer is instantly tied to that parody world, making a win feel both nostalgic for longtime viewers and funny to newcomers.

The classic Caillou yay sound effect from GoAnimate grounded videos, a short excited cheer used for funny wins, celebrations and meme edits.
This is the short, high-pitched yay shout associated with Classic Caillou from GoAnimate grounded videos, stretched out into a long, gleeful yell that rises quickly and then holds its excited tone. It sounds like a cartoon child celebrating at full volume, silly and over-the-top rather than realistic, which makes it instantly recognisable to viewers who grew up with those parody videos. Dropped into an edit, it turns a small win into a ridiculous triumph, adding a burst of childish joy that feels both nostalgic and absurd. Its brevity keeps the joke sharp, landing the celebration before the moment can drag.
