The clip comes from Day9 Daily episode 659, Burrowed Baneling Funday Monday Part 3, in which StarCraft II caster Sean Plott, known as Day9, commentates a light-hearted themed match built around burrowed banelings. The shout fits the Funday Monday format, where unusual strategies and chaotic plays take priority over serious competition. Fans clipped the most quotable moment and shared it as a short reaction sound, and it has stayed useful because it captures Day9's excitable casting style in a single, instantly recognisable burst.

Day9 shouts beat him with sticks in this short StarCraft II Daily clip, a frantic voice line fans use for funny beatdowns and gaming fails in edits and memes.
Day9 delivers this line in a burst of excited, almost gleeful shouting, his voice rising as he urges an attack with sticks rather than any sensible strategy. The clip is short and punchy, just under two seconds long, so it lands like a sudden cheer from the sidelines of a StarCraft match. It sounds less like a serious command and more like a fan losing it during a chaotic play, which is exactly why it works as a reaction. Dropped over a clip of someone getting overwhelmed, it turns a simple defeat into a slapstick pile-on that feels energetic, silly and instantly shareable.
