The sound comes from Pluto's Judgement Day, a Mickey Mouse cartoon released on August 31, 1935, where Pluto dreams he is put on trial by cats. Clarence Nash, best known as the voice of Donald Duck, performed the yowling. Decades later the recording resurfaced on soundboards and in meme edits, detached from the original nightmare trial scene. Its old Hollywood cartoon style sets it apart from a real cat recording, and its length lets editors cut a short meow or a long tantrum from the same clip.
Informazioni su questo suono
Disney cat yowling sound effect performed by Clarence Nash for the 1935 Mickey Mouse cartoon Pluto's Judgement Day, used for funny angry cat moments.
This is a loud, drawn-out cat yowling performance full of howls, screeches and complaining meows that rise and fall in pitch. Voiced as pure cartoon animal noise rather than speech, it sounds frantic, offended and over the top, like a whole alley of cats arguing at once. The exaggerated delivery makes even a small annoyance feel like a dramatic meltdown. Listeners instantly read it as anger, pain or protest played for laughs, which is why the clip works so well when a character, pet or player completely loses their temper on screen.
