Donald Duck was created by Walt Disney Productions and first appeared in 1934, quickly becoming one of Disney's most popular characters thanks to his short temper and distinctive voice originated by Clarence Nash. From 1937 onward he headlined his own series of theatrical cartoon shorts, each opening with cheerful theme music that television reruns and home video collections later kept in circulation. Those openings were widely recorded and shared online as soundboard clips, and the intro is now reused by fans for retro edits, tributes, and parody cartoon openings.
