This clip comes from the official trailer for Five Nights at Freddy's 4, the horror game released by Scott Cawthon in 2015, where players survive nights against nightmare versions of the familiar animatronics in a child's bedroom. The trailer's sudden scare became a favourite audio rip on YouTube and soundboard sites, later reused in fan edits, reaction videos and short-form horror memes. It remains popular because the franchise still has a large fan community and the scream instantly signals a classic FNAF jumpscare, even to viewers who have never played the game.

The sudden jumpscare scream from the Five Nights at Freddy's 4 trailer, used in horror edits, reaction videos and scary memes for a sharp shock moment.
This is the abrupt, high-pitched scream and crashing noise that erupts at the jumpscare moment in the trailer for Five Nights at Freddy's 4, cutting through the tense, quiet build-up with almost no warning. The sound is loud, distorted and frantic, layered with a sharp shriek and a burst of mechanical clatter that makes it feel like something has lunged straight at the listener. It is designed to startle, so even viewers who expect it tend to flinch, laugh nervously or jump back from their screens. That instant shock is why editors save it for the exact frame a reveal, prank or failed challenge lands.
