Follow alerts became a core part of livestream culture as channels on Twitch, YouTube and Kick added on-screen notifications for every new follower, turning a simple follow into a public thank you. This short chime follows that same format, sitting alongside other familiar notification sounds like the GTA V notification that gamers instantly recognise. As streaming clips moved to TikTok and Shorts, the alert sound escaped the live chat and started appearing in edits as a joke or celebration cue whenever someone gains a follower, a like or a small win online.
Informazioni su questo suono
A short follow alert notification chime used on Twitch and other livestreams to announce a new follower, also popular as a stream sound effect and meme cue.
This follow alert is a brief, bright notification chime designed to play the moment someone follows a channel during a livestream. It lasts just under three seconds, with a clean digital tone that rises quickly and resolves with a satisfying sparkle, making it instantly noticeable without talking over the streamer. Viewers associate the sound with a small celebration on screen, often paired with an animated name pop-up. Because it is short and upbeat, creators also reuse it outside streaming as a playful cue for a new subscriber, a like, or any small online win.
