Gabibbo is the red, big-nosed mascot closely associated with Italian television comedy, especially the satirical news programme Striscia la Notizia, where his appearances are built around slapstick, pranks and exaggerated reactions. Short clips and sounds connected to him have circulated widely among Italian meme pages and short-form video creators, who reuse the most instantly recognisable noises as punchlines rather than as references to a single episode. This splash works in that tradition, because it needs no translation and turns a visual fall into an immediately understood joke.
Informazioni su questo suono
A water splash linked to Gabibbo, the red mascot of Italian TV show Striscia la Notizia, used for clumsy falls, failed dives and surprise dunks in memes.
The clip is a brief, punchy splash lasting just over a second, with a wet burst of water followed by a quick, bubbly settle that sounds like someone landing awkwardly in a pool or bucket. It has the exaggerated, slightly cartoonish quality of Italian television comedy, so it lands instantly even without any words or context. Played over a fall, a slip or an unexpected dunk, it turns a small mishap into a joke, giving viewers a clear splash cue that makes the moment feel messier, funnier and more deliberately staged than the footage alone would suggest.
