Dark Jeanne is the dark-element version of Jeanne d'Arc, a recurring character in Granblue Fantasy, Cygames' long-running Japanese role-playing game. While Jeanne is usually portrayed as a devoted and honourable warrior, her dark counterpart leans into arrogance and cruelty, and that contrast is central to her appeal. Short voice clips of her laugh have circulated among fans in edits, compilations and meme videos, where the sound is instantly recognisable to players. It endures because it captures a villainous turn in just a few seconds.

Dark Jeanne's sinister laugh from Granblue Fantasy, a short mocking chuckle used in video edits and online memes for villainous reveals and taunting moments.
This is the short, unsettling laugh of Dark Jeanne, the corrupted counterpart of Jeanne d'Arc in Granblue Fantasy. It starts low and controlled, then rises into a sharp, mocking chuckle that sounds confident, cruel and slightly unhinged, as if she already knows how the battle will end. The clip lasts only a few seconds, but its tone shifts a scene instantly, turning a normal reveal into something ominous. Listeners hear arrogance rather than joy, which is why it works so well as a punctuation mark for a villain entering, a plan succeeding, or a rival being dismissed with contempt.
