The phrase 'gives me conniptions' is vintage American slang for being driven to nervous fits, and this clip leans into that old-fashioned melodrama for comic effect. The exact recording appears to come from an anonymous user-generated soundboard upload rather than a widely documented film scene, so its precise origin is unclear. Online, it circulates as a reaction sound for memes about secondhand embarrassment, bad decisions and over-the-top drama. Its staying power comes from the phrase itself: quaint, expressive and instantly funnier than a plain groan.
Informazioni su questo suono
A short voice clip of someone exclaiming 'gives me conniptions' as a funny reaction sound. Creators use it over cringe moments, bad takes and edits in memes.
This is a short spoken clip built around the exclamation 'gives me conniptions', delivered with flustered, over-the-top energy. The voice sounds exasperated and theatrical, like someone pushed past their limit by something ridiculous happening on screen. It runs about nine seconds, giving creators enough room to let the frustration build and land. Dropped over a video, it turns secondhand embarrassment into comedy, making the audience laugh at the sheer melodrama of the reaction. It works best when the on-screen moment genuinely deserves the outrage, so the delivery feels earned rather than random.
