This clip is a generic Halloween sound effect rather than a line from a film or television show, built around a distorted ghost voice delivering the unsettling phrase 'I see you'. Sounds like this have circulated for years on meme and Halloween soundboards, where short, easily recognisable scares are saved and reused for seasonal edits. Its appeal lies in its simplicity: the phrase needs no context to feel threatening, so it works in pranks, reaction videos and spooky compilations long after Halloween has passed, whenever a creator wants an instant sense of being watched.
Informazioni su questo suono
A creepy ghost voice whispers 'I see you' in this Halloween sound effect, used for spooky videos, haunted house scenes and scary prank edits.
This seven-second clip features a low, distorted ghost voice slowly saying 'I see you', stretched out with an echoing, hollow quality that makes it feel like it is coming from somewhere just out of sight. The whisper is quiet at first, then grows colder and more menacing, with a faint breathy hiss underneath that keeps the tension hanging in the air. It does not rely on a jump scare or loud noise; instead, the slow delivery and unnatural tone create a creeping sense of being watched. Listeners often feel a chill down the spine, making it ideal for building dread before a reveal in a horror edit.
