Informazioni su questo suono

A viral ENHYPEN moment where Korean lyrics sound like it's a knife, used as a funny K-pop sound effect for edits, reactions and short fan videos.

This clip captures the ENHYPEN lyric moment that fans hear as it's a knife, with Korean vocals delivered in the group's sharp, high-energy style. The phrasing lands as an accidental English joke, which is what makes the nearly thirty second excerpt so replayable. It builds like a proper K-pop hook rather than a one-line punchline, so the misheard phrase feels dramatic and catchy at the same time. Listeners use it when a video needs that mix of intensity and absurd humour, especially over edits where the supposed knife line arrives completely out of context.

Suggerimento pro

Place the it's a knife hook right on a reveal or zoom, not under dialogue, and let the Korean build-up play first. Pair it with a quick cutaway prop or shocked reaction, then cut the music cleanly before it overpowers the joke.

ENHYPEN is a seven member South Korean boy group formed on the survival show I-LAND in 2020, with Jungwon, Heeseung, Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, Sunoo and Ni-ki. Fans clipped this Korean lyric section because the phrasing sounds to English ears like it's a knife, turning a serious vocal passage into a shared fandom joke. The excerpt spread through edits and soundboards as a misheard lyrics meme, kept alive because ENGENEs instantly recognise the voices while outsiders only hear the dramatic knife line out of context.

What is the It's a Knife ENHYPEN sound?

It is a clipped ENHYPEN vocal section where Korean lyrics are misheard by English listeners as it's a knife. The full excerpt runs nearly thirty seconds and keeps the musical build-up, making it longer than most one line meme sounds used online.

Where does the It's a Knife lyric come from?

It comes from an ENHYPEN performance clip shared by fans, built around a Korean lyric that sounds like an English phrase. The exact joke relies on mishearing rather than an actual knife lyric, which is why fans treat it as a mondegreen meme.

How do people use this sound in edits?

Creators place the hook over reveals, prop jokes and dramatic edits, letting the Korean build-up create tension before the misheard line lands. It works best unsubtitled at first, then replayed with captions so viewers can hear both versions clearly for themselves.
