JonTron is the online persona of Jon Jafari, whose comedy review channel became popular in the early 2010s for exaggerated reactions to games and movies. Short voice clips from his videos are widely reused as reaction sounds because his delivery shifts quickly between confusion, confidence and disbelief. This line circulates on its own, separated from its original review context, and is mainly shared as a joke about cooking, car maintenance and home repairs. Its appeal is the deadpan certainty applied to something as ordinary as choosing oil.

JonTron's deadpan line about using the right oil, clipped from his comedy review videos. Creators drop it for cooking fails, DIY mistakes and fix-it moments.
This is JonTron delivering a strangely serious line about using the right oil, taken out of context from his fast, chaotic review style. His flat, matter-of-fact tone makes a mundane cooking ingredient sound like a crucial secret, which is why the clip lands as a joke on its own. Played over a greasy pan, a squeaky hinge or a botched repair, it instantly turns a small mistake into a dramatic lesson. The humour comes from the contrast between the trivial subject and how confidently he states it as the solution.
