Korekiyo Shinguji's unsettling kh kh kh laugh from Danganronpa V3, used in edits and memes to signal creepy, ominous or suspicious dark moments.

This is a short, dry chuckle from Korekiyo Shinguji, the anthropology student in Danganronpa V3, delivered as three clipped, breathy kh sounds in quick succession. It is quiet rather than loud, with a flat, knowing tone that feels more unsettling than joyful, like someone amused by something they should not be amused by. Because it lasts barely a second, it works as a sudden punctuation mark in a video, instantly changing the mood from normal to suspicious. Listeners often associate it with his calm, eerie presence, so even without any visual context it can make a scene feel creepy, secretive, or slightly unhinged.

Suggerimento pro

Drop it right after a character reveals something suspicious or stares a beat too long, then cut to silence for half a second so the laugh lands. Avoid layering it over loud music, as its quiet, breathy delivery is buried and loses its creepy effect.

His repeated kh laugh became one of his most recognisable vocal traits, partly because it contrasts with his calm, polite manner and hints at a darker curiosity. Fans clipped the short sound for edits, reaction videos and meme compilations, where it quickly signals that something is off.
