Krusty the Clown is the chain smoking children's TV host from The Simpsons, first appearing in 1989 as the star of the fictional Krusty the Clown Show within the series. His shouted hey hey kids became his standard opening catchphrase for the in show audience of children. Clips of the greeting circulated online as a standalone reaction sound during the rise of meme soundboards and short form edits, where its familiar cartoon delivery made it an instant cue for a goofy entrance, a fake kids show parody, or an ironic welcome.

Krusty the Clown saying hey hey kids in his cheerful TV host voice from The Simpsons, used as a funny greeting or intro in meme videos and edits.
Krusty the Clown bursts in with his signature hey hey kids greeting, delivered in a loud, raspy, overly cheerful showman voice. The line is short and instantly recognisable, with an upbeat energy that feels both welcoming and slightly chaotic. It works like an entrance announcement, grabbing attention in the first second. Listeners familiar with the character hear the carnival style delivery and circus host persona immediately, while others just hear a funny cartoon clown shouting a hello that is too enthusiastic to ignore in any edit or reaction clip.
