Steve's Lava Chicken comes from A Minecraft Movie, released in 2025 and based on the Minecraft game. Jack Black plays Steve and performs the brief song in the film, which was also promoted through the official soundtrack and lyric video from WaterTower Music. The excerpt spread quickly on TikTok, YouTube and gaming pages because the hook is short, singable and easy to attach to unrelated cooking clips. Its mix of a major movie moment and an intentionally silly food jingle helped it remain a recurring Minecraft meme sound.

Jack Black performs Steve's Lava Chicken from A Minecraft Movie, a brief musical jingle creators drop into cooking, food and funny gaming edits.
Steve's Lava Chicken is a short musical number performed by Jack Black as Steve in A Minecraft Movie. The clip runs through the playful lava chicken jingle, with bouncy singing, bright instrumentation and an exaggerated sales pitch for the fiery dish. It sounds cheerful, theatrical and instantly catchy, built around a simple repeating hook that sticks after one listen. Viewers treat it as a punchline as much as a song, because the serious delivery contrasts with the absurd idea of chicken cooked in lava, making even a brief excerpt feel funny and memorable.
