Rupert and Hubert are the two guests Mr Bean invites to his flat for New Year's Eve in Do-It-Yourself Mr Bean, an episode of the ITV series starring Rowan Atkinson that first aired in 1994. Bean tries to host a proper celebration with homemade hats and food, but the guests quietly move his clock forward and leave for a livelier party next door. The scene became a favourite for fans, and short name clips from it now circulate online as reaction sounds for awkward introductions and disappointing parties.

Mr Bean introducing his New Year's Eve party guests Rupert and Hubert in the classic TV scene, now used as a short funny name callout sound effect.
This short clip captures Mr Bean proudly presenting his two New Year's Eve guests, Rupert and Hubert, in his unmistakable hesitant voice. The delivery is polite, slightly strained and drawn out, as if the introduction matters far more than the quiet party itself. You hear the names clearly over the room tone of his flat, with Bean's awkward timing doing all the comic work. It lands as an instantly recognisable moment of British awkwardness, making even a simple pair of names sound like a grand announcement that is about to go wrong.
