The clip runs about 13.5 seconds, giving the sung delivery room to build without requiring much trimming. Download the MP3 once and keep it locally for offline soundboard use or quick editing. Its voice-forward mix should remain clear over quiet footage, but lower music and conversation underneath it. For a ringtone or notification tone, trim the opening section if you need a faster alert. A Metal Gear Alert can sharpen the moment, while a Ba Dum Tss drum sting works after the reaction lands.

Play the button, download the MP3, or set it as a ringtone. The 13-second My Mind Is Telling Me No meme sound adds comic hesitation to any bad idea.
This sound is the instantly recognisable sung line, “my mind's telling me no,” delivered in a smooth R&B style from the start of a well-known 1990s song. The clip has a dramatic, conflicted tone that lands somewhere between sincerity and comedy, which is why it works so well in memes. People use it when a person knows something is a bad idea but clearly wants to do it anyway. Even as a very short audio bite, it adds hesitation, inner struggle and a playful sense of self-awareness to a scene.
