Pomni is the jester protagonist of The Amazing Digital Circus, Glitch Productions' popular animated web series, while SMG4 is a long-running Australian YouTube series known for chaotic Mario-inspired comedy and frequent character crossovers. Online, clips that place Pomni inside SMG4's world have spread as a simple visual gag: a character from one cartoon suddenly turning up in another. The 'wrong show' joke is easy to reuse in fan edits, reaction videos, and short-form memes, which keeps the sound circulating among fans of both series.

A Pomni clip from an SMG4 crossover moment, with the Digital Circus jester reacting in the wrong show. Fans use it for crossover edits and out-of-place jokes.
This seven-second clip drops Pomni, the wide-eyed jester from The Amazing Digital Circus, into the chaotic world of SMG4, and the joke lands because she clearly does not belong there. Her bright, anxious delivery stands out against SMG4's fast, slapstick energy, making the moment feel like a character wandering into the wrong cartoon. Listeners recognise the clash instantly, even without seeing the video, because Pomni's nervous tone and familiar design contrast so sharply with the surrounding madness. It works as a quick punchline for edits about being lost, misplaced, or suddenly out of your depth.
