Rude Buster debuted in Deltarune Chapter 1, released in 2018 by Toby Fox, as a powerful Rude spell cast by Susie during battle. The swing became one of the attack's most recognizable audio cues, closely tied to Susie's rough personality and axe based fighting style. As Deltarune clips, fan animations, and Undertale related edits spread online, creators began lifting the whoosh on its own for other fights and memes. Its short length and clear game origin keep it popular for edits that need instant recognition from Deltarune fans.

The Rude Buster swing sound effect from Deltarune is Susie's axe slash whoosh, used in edits and gameplay clips for a fast, powerful attack hit.
This short clip captures the sharp whoosh of Susie's Rude Buster attack in Deltarune, a fast axe swing that cuts through the air before impact. The sound is clean and forceful, starting with a quick rising sweep and ending in a heavy slash that feels much bigger than its one second length. It instantly signals aggression, confidence, and comic overkill, making a simple movement look like a decisive finishing move. Viewers recognize the timing and energy immediately, so even without visuals the swing creates anticipation and impact, turning a normal hit into a dramatic, game-accurate moment.
