The exact original clip behind the Augh Lawnmower is not clearly documented, so it is best understood as an internet meme sound rather than a line from a single show or film. On soundboards and in short-form video, the long 'augh' has circulated as a standalone reaction clip, shared because its length and mechanical buzz make it easy to recognise even without context. Creators reuse it for slapstick fails, gaming deaths and exaggerated frustration, and its popularity has lasted because the joke works in almost any situation where someone is dramatically, but not seriously, suffering.

A long, drawn-out 'augh' scream layered over a lawnmower-like drone, used as a comic reaction to pain, frustration, or an awkward fail in memes and videos.
The Augh Lawnmower is a fifteen-second burst of exaggerated suffering that starts as a strained human groan and stretches into a loud, wavering 'augh' while a buzzing, engine-like hum runs underneath it. The voice sounds pained but deliberately over-the-top, rising and falling like someone being dragged along by a runaway machine rather than genuinely hurt. That mix of vocal distress and mechanical drone makes it instantly funny, turning a small mishap into a dramatic collapse. Listeners expect the scream to stop, but it keeps going, and the absurd length is what sells the joke.
