The clip is associated with Brazilian internet figure Jailson Mendes and circulates under the name Dago in Brazilian meme and group-chat audio collections. It spread as a short, reusable reaction sound, shared in group chats and short-form edits where a blunt Portuguese command fits a visual joke about clothing or workwear. Its appeal is its brevity and directness: at under three seconds, it can be dropped into almost any clip without explaining the joke, which has kept it in rotation long after its first viral circulation among Portuguese-speaking meme audiences.
Informazioni su questo suono
A short Brazilian meme voice clip where Jailson Mendes says tira esse macacão, used in funny edits and reaction videos to mock someone's outfit.
This two-and-a-half-second clip captures a loud, emphatic Brazilian Portuguese voice shouting the phrase tira esse macacão, telling someone to take off their jumpsuit or overalls. The delivery is blunt, fast and slightly exasperated, with the emphasis landing hard on the final word, which makes it feel like a direct order rather than a polite request. Because it is so short and instantly understandable even without context, it lands as a punchline on its own, turning an ordinary outfit moment into a joke and prompting an immediate laugh from viewers who recognise the meme.
