Neco-Arc is the cat-like parody of Arcueid Brunestud from Type-Moon's Tsukihime universe, best known to most players through the Melty Blood fighting games. Her exaggerated, high-energy personality made her a favourite for fan edits and meme videos, with short voice clips like Buranya circulating online long after her debut. The clip survives because it is instantly recognisable, very short, and easy to drop into almost any chaotic moment, giving editors a quick way to signal anime in-jokes without needing any dialogue or context.

The short Buranya sound effect from Neco-Arc in Melty Blood, a high-pitched cat-like cry used in memes and reaction edits for sudden chaos or cute surprise.
Buranya is a tiny, one-second burst of Neco-Arc's squeaky, cat-like voice, delivered at a frantic, almost sing-song pitch that lands somewhere between a meow and a battle cry. It is instantly recognisable to fans of Melty Blood and Tsukihime, where the chaotic cat-girl version of Arcueid turns even a serious fight into something absurd. Played on its own, the clip feels sudden and silly, cutting through a quiet moment with pure cartoon energy. That contrast is why it works so well as a punchline, making a scene feel more unhinged, playful, or unexpectedly cute in less than two seconds.
