This clip is credited as an original creation by elisocray, rather than a line taken directly from Among Us itself. It plays on the game's familiar crewmate character and the long-running online joke of calling fictional characters at 3am, a format often framed as a FaceTime call. That combination helped it circulate as a meme sound for gaming edits, reaction videos and group-chat jokes, where the recognisable character does most of the work. Its appeal has lasted because the premise is simple, instantly understood by players, and easy to reuse in new edits.

A playful voice clip calling an Among Us crewmate, originally by elisocray, used in 3am FaceTime-style memes and gaming edits to summon a friend for a joke.
This is a voice recording in which someone calls out to an Among Us crewmate as if starting a late-night video call, stretching the greeting into a funny, slightly urgent summons. The voice is clear and conversational in American English, with a playful tone that makes the crewmate feel like a friend who has just picked up the phone. At just over thirty seconds, it builds anticipation before the joke lands, which is why it works well as a reaction clip. Listeners recognise the game reference, even without music or effects, and its call-and-response feeling makes it easy to drop into edits and group chats for a quick laugh.
