Dandadan began as a manga by Yukinobu Tatsu, serialized on Shonen Jump+ from 2021, before Science SARU adapted it into an anime in 2024. The series follows Momo Ayase and Ken Takakura, nicknamed Okarun, as ghost and alien encounters spiral out of control. Its opening moments and start cues were clipped by fans for edits and soundboards as the anime spread online. Like the To be Continued cue from JoJo, it became shorthand for launching into something absurd, and it remains popular because the show mixes horror, comedy and romance at full speed.

The DanDaDan Start sound is the opening sting from the anime series, used to kick off edits, reaction videos and meme intros with instant chaotic energy.
This is the short opening cue that launches into Dandadan, built to signal that something weird is about to happen. It hits fast, with a punchy, high-energy start that feels part sci-fi, part occult chaos, matching a series where ghosts and aliens collide. There is no slow build, so the listener is thrown straight into the action. That sudden jolt is why it works so well as an intro sting, giving an ordinary clip an immediate sense of urgency, surprise and playful panic before the main scene even begins to unfold properly.
