De Allerliefste Hond comes from Samson and Gert, the long-running Flemish children's television duo centred on Gert and his talking dog, Samson. The song celebrates Samson as the sweetest dog, which makes its opening instantly recognisable to viewers who grew up with the show in Belgium and the Netherlands. On soundboards and short-form video, the clip circulates as a brief nostalgic cue for pet content rather than as a full song, and it endures because that affectionate, childlike melody immediately signals a beloved dog.

The opening seconds of Samson and Gert's song De Allerliefste Hond, a cheerful Dutch children's tune used for cute dog moments and lighthearted video edits.
This short clip captures the first few seconds of De Allerliefste Hond, the warm, singalong opening from Samson and Gert. A bright, upbeat children's melody leads the way, with friendly vocals that immediately set a sweet, affectionate tone. It sounds simple and nostalgic, like the start of a beloved television song, and it instantly makes a scene feel softer and more playful. Because it is so brief, it works best as a quick emotional cue rather than a full musical moment, giving dog clips, pet reveals and wholesome edits an instant burst of charm and innocence.
