The Sword of Omens, known in Spanish as the Espada del Augurio, is the signature weapon of Lion-O, leader of the ThunderCats in the original 1985 animated television series. When extended, the sword grants Lion-O the power of Sight Beyond Sight and calls the other ThunderCats to his side, which is why its sound became shorthand for heroic summons and dramatic reveals. The series gained a lasting following in Spanish-speaking countries through its dubbed broadcast, keeping lines and sounds from the show alive in memes, tributes and fan edits long after its original run.

The Espada del Augurio sound from ThunderCats, featuring the Sword of Omens summoning effect used by Lion-O in dramatic reveals and nostalgic cartoon edits.
This is the dramatic summoning sound of the Sword of Omens, the legendary weapon carried by Lion-O in ThunderCats. It opens with a rising, metallic swell as the blade extends, then layers a bright, heroic fanfare that feels both ancient and powerful. The effect is instantly recognisable to fans of the classic cartoon, signalling that something important is about to be revealed or that a hero is stepping forward. Played over a video, it turns an ordinary entrance into a moment of destiny, adding weight, nostalgia and a sense of epic scale without needing any dialogue to explain what is happening.
