Although no single original video is widely credited for this clip, the horse laugh has become a staple of meme soundboards and short-form comedy, where animal sounds are used to exaggerate human reactions. It spread through reaction videos, gaming highlights and TikTok-style edits, where a loud, unexpected animal laugh can turn a small mistake into a joke. Like the baby laughing meme and the cat laugh meme, it works because the laugh feels out of place, making the moment funnier without needing any dialogue or explanation.
このサウンドについて
A loud, exaggerated horse laugh sound effect from meme videos, used to mock a bad joke, a fail or an awkward moment in comedy edits and reaction clips.
This is a long, loud horse laugh that starts with a sharp snort and rolls into a wheezing, high-pitched neighing chuckle, almost like a horse is laughing at its own joke. It lasts about ten seconds, giving editors room to cut it short for a quick punchline or let it run for maximum awkwardness. The sound is deliberately over the top, so it instantly signals that something ridiculous has just happened, turning a simple fail, bad pun or embarrassing clip into a moment the audience is meant to laugh at. Its cartoonish quality feels sillier and kinder than a human laugh track, which is why it suits light-hearted meme edits.
