Krankes Lachen translates from German as sick or insane laughter, and the lol in the title signals it was shared as a joke reaction rather than a named movie or show clip. With no clear credited source, it circulates on soundboards as a generic manic laugh that German-speaking and international meme users both understand instantly. Its length sets it apart from short giggle effects, letting editors stretch a reaction, loop the worst burst, or cut it short for a punchline, which keeps it useful for streams, edits and group chats.
このサウンドについて
A long, unhinged German laugh clip known as Krankes Lachen, used for over-the-top reactions, villain moments and chaotic meme edits online now.
This clip is a prolonged, wheezing laugh that keeps escalating until it sounds completely unhinged. The voice cracks, gasps for air and pushes through several bursts, which makes it feel less like a polite chuckle and more like someone losing control over a joke. At around thirteen seconds it is long enough to build awkward tension before the payoff. Viewers instantly read it as manic amusement, mocking disbelief or a villain enjoying chaos, so even without any context the sound alone tells the audience the reaction is exaggerated, deranged and not meant to be taken seriously at all.
