The phrase 'me after zaza' comes from online meme culture, where zaza is slang for strong cannabis and the caption is used to label a reaction to feeling high. Creators on TikTok and other short-video platforms pair the sound with blank stares, uncontrollable laughter and everyday tasks suddenly becoming difficult, turning a private, hazy feeling into a shared joke. Because the format is simple and instantly readable, it keeps appearing in reaction edits, gaming clips and vlogs whenever someone wants to signal they are completely zoned out.

The me after zaza meme sound is used in TikTok edits and reaction videos to show someone feeling dazed, relaxed and spaced out after smoking.
This short clip captures the exact feeling behind the 'me after zaza' caption: a dazed, slowed-down moment where everything seems funnier, heavier and slightly out of focus. It lands best as a reaction, turning a simple stare, laugh or failed task into a joke about being completely zoned out. The relaxed, hazy energy makes the viewer instantly recognise the mood without needing any explanation, which is why it works so well over gameplay, vlogs and everyday fails. At just over seven seconds, it is long enough to sell the vibe but short enough to drop in without breaking the pace of an edit.
