Barry first appears in Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2, the 2013 animated sequel in which Flint Lockwood discovers living food creatures, called foodimals, on Swallow Falls. Barry is a small strawberry foodimal who quickly becomes one of Flint's companions, and the short Meet Barry clip introduces him to audiences. Lifted from that scene, this brief vocal has circulated online as a standalone soundboard clip, where its length and cuteness make it easy to reuse. It endures because it instantly signals a sweet, innocent character without needing any dialogue or context.

A short cute vocal sound from Barry, the strawberry foodimal in Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2 (2013), often used in edits as a sweet reaction.
This is a tiny, one-and-a-half-second vocal moment from Barry, the wide-eyed strawberry foodimal introduced in Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2. It is soft, high-pitched and slightly wobbly, more like a curious little squeak than a spoken word, and it lands instantly because it is so brief. Hearing it makes a scene feel instantly cuter and sillier, as if a small creature has just noticed something exciting or is trying to get attention. The charm comes from its innocence: no joke is explained, no line is delivered, just a sweet, expressive noise that makes viewers smile and softens whatever comes next.
