Neco-Arc is the small, cat-eared parody version of Arcueid Brunestud, the vampire heroine of Type-Moon's Tsukihime visual novel, who became a joke fighter in the Melty Blood games and a lasting internet mascot. Her distorted voice lines, exaggerated poses, and animal noises were clipped and shared as reaction sounds, with this short 'gao' becoming a favourite because it is instantly recognisable even without context. It spread through fan edits, fighting-game clips, and short-form video, where creators use it as a compact burst of chaotic anime energy.

Neco-Arc's short, guttural 'gao' cry from the Tsukihime and Melty Blood meme character, used as a funny cat-like reaction in edits, memes and streams.
This is Neco-Arc's tiny, feral 'gao': a sudden, throaty cat-growl that sounds half-meow, half-roar, delivered in the squeaky, chaotic voice of the feline parody of Arcueid from Tsukihime and Melty Blood. It lasts less than a second, but the abrupt pitch and animal energy make it land like a miniature jump scare. Dropped over a reaction shot, a failed play, or an unexpectedly cute moment, it turns something ordinary into something absurd, because the sound is both aggressive and ridiculous at once, and viewers instantly recognise the deranged little cat behind it.
