Pizza Tower is an indie 2D platformer developed by Tour De Pizza and released in 2023, starring Peppino in a fast, Wario Land inspired run through a tower. Its cartoon animation and frantic sound design made many of its short cues popular outside the game, with players clipping them for edits and soundboards. The golf sound spread in that context, reused as a reaction for exaggerated hits, launches and misses that have nothing to do with golf, because the clean swing and sudden impact read clearly even without the original scene.

This is the short golf cue from Pizza Tower, built around a clean swing and impact that lands with cartoon exaggeration. The sound is quick, bright and punchy, cutting off almost as soon as it hits, which gives it a slapstick timing that feels bigger than a normal golf shot. It works because Pizza Tower plays everything at frantic speed, so even a simple sports action sounds chaotic and funny. Dropped over a clip, it instantly turns a throw, a jump or a failed attempt into a deliberate, overconfident golf shot gone wrong.
