Saitama is the bald protagonist of One Punch Man, the series created by ONE that became a manga and a hit anime from 2015. Friday Night Funkin is the open source rhythm game first released in 2020, known for a huge modding scene that stages musical battles against characters from other franchises. The VS One Note Man mod leans into a running joke about Saitama ending everything with minimal effort, giving him a single note to sing. That stripped back gag made the bou clip easy to reuse far beyond the mod itself.

Saitama bou sound effect from the Friday Night Funkin VS One Note Man mod, featuring the One Punch Man hero holding a single note fans use for meme edits.
This is the short vocal note Saitama delivers in the Friday Night Funkin VS One Note Man mod, reduced to a single flat 'bou' sound. The joke is the contrast between the famously overpowered One Punch Man hero and such a minimal, deadpan performance. It lasts just over a second, with a clean start and abrupt end that makes it easy to loop or repeat. Placed over a serious moment, a failed attempt or an unimpressed reaction, it undercuts the scene instantly and turns Saitama's lack of effort into the punchline.
