Techies is a hero in Dota 2, the multiplayer battle arena game by Valve first released in 2013. The hero is voiced as a trio named Squee, Spleen and Spoon, whose explosive mine based playstyle made them infamous among players. Short extracted voice lines like this thanks clip later circulated on gaming soundboards and in stream chats, where players reused them outside matches. Its lasting appeal comes from that contrast between an innocent thank you and Techies reputation for frustrating opponents, making it ideal for both sincere and ironic reactions.

Short Dota 2 voice line where Techies character Spoon says thanks, often used as a polite or sarcastic thank you reaction in gaming videos and chats.
This is a very brief voice clip from Dota 2 featuring Spoon, one of the three goblins who make up the hero Techies, delivering a simple thanks. The line is spoken in the character's high pitched, mischievous tone, so it sounds cheerful and slightly smug rather than sincere. Lasting less than a second, it lands instantly and works like a vocal emote. Viewers recognise it as both a genuine bit of gratitude and a playful taunt, especially after a chaotic Techies play involving mines, which gives the short clip surprising personality despite its simplicity.
