The line circulates online as a short reaction sound, shared in edits and meme compilations where its blunt wording does the comic work on its own. Search interest clusters around the full shouted phrase, including the 'hold your fire' opening, which suggests many listeners first heard it clipped from a longer scene rather than as a standalone recording. Because the clip is only a few seconds long, it is easy to reuse, and its popularity has endured through repetition in gaming, commentary and reaction videos, where the dark irony is immediately understood without extra context.
このサウンドについて
A short, urgent meme voice clip shouting 'Hold your fire, this man isn't black,' used as a darkly comic reaction when someone narrowly avoids trouble.
A tense male voice shouts the line over about three seconds, urgent and commanding at first before landing on the final words with pointed emphasis. The delivery sounds like a warning called out in a chaotic moment, with a clipped, almost panicked energy that makes the punchline hit harder. Listeners hear it as dark, satirical humour rather than a serious statement, because the joke turns on who is supposedly safe from being shot at. That sharp contrast between the frantic tone and the absurd logic is what makes it instantly recognisable and easy to drop into a reaction edit.
