On TikTok, this clip circulates as a short trend sound tied to twerking contest videos, where the greeting frames a confident entrance, a dance showcase, or a playful reaction. Because the line is instantly recognisable and easy to lip-sync or drop over a beat, creators have reused it far beyond its first contest clips, turning it into a reusable opener for party, dance, and comedy edits. Its staying power comes from that simple setup: one familiar greeting promises energy, humour, and a bold reveal without needing any extra explanation.

A playful 'what's up, ladies' voice clip from a twerking contest trend, used in TikTok edits and reaction videos to introduce an entrance or dance moment.
This short clip opens with a confident voice greeting a room with what's up, ladies, delivered in a relaxed, playful tone that instantly sets up a party-ready mood. The delivery is unhurried and slightly cheeky, making it feel like an entrance rather than a simple hello. At just under nineteen seconds, it leaves room for a beat drop, a dance move, or a cut to a reaction, which is why it works so well as an opener. Viewers tend to smile at the swagger, expecting something bold, funny, or high-energy to follow.
